Are you in the same dilemma that other of property owners in the Costa Blanca are experiencing ?
1, You have bought a property in the last 10 years2, You paid a high price for the property
3, The value of the property has dropped taking at least 30% of its value
4, As the recession continues you find you cannot afford to meet the expenses of owning your property
5, As the recession continues you have to think about not going to Spain for a holiday
6, You do not want to sell even if you can find a buyer
7, You would sell if the price was right but no one is interested.
If you answered YES to most or all of these questions then this site could be the answer to your prayers.
I have also said YES to all the questions above and I have a solution.I have derived a method that maybe can turn around the property market in the Alicante region at least and for me in particular.
Scenario 1 Me
I have a flat purchased in 2004 and use around 3 times a year if I can and it is my pride and joy, I have no intention of selling as I would lose a nice apartment and I would not get the full asking price. My intention over the next few years is to move across to Spain and and take up semi retirement however as nice as the flat is it is not for living in all the time, more space is required.
Scenario 2 You
You have a house that was supposed to be painted and decorated and restored to its former glory. For reasons beyond your control you have an unfinished house that you cannot afford to continue the restoration but you still want a holiday property in Spain. What you want is an apartment near local bars and restaurants for a great holiday.Solution 1
Scenario 1 exchanges properties with Scenario 2I then have the house to restore and the house owner now owns a holiday apartment with a pool and close to restaurants and bars. How simple is that?
There is one rule No Money changes hands!
This will be a straight exchange the only money that is spent is for legal administration and conveyancing which I am afraid is unavoidable. So how does it work
The property owner contacts Spanish Homes Trader via email through this site and the Property is entered on the the Spanish Homes Trader databasewhen a match is found the owners are then contacted, they then, if satisfied with the deal begin to trade their respective properties.
